Rome: better than 2006?
Roger will play the ‚Internazionali d’Italia’ in Rome this week. He will certainly try to improve last year’s mark when he lost to Rafael Nadal in the final – after having had two match balls. He has never been able to win the tournament this far.
Roger has a bye for the first round and will later either face Spain’s Nicolas Almagro (ATP 39) or his British friend Tim Henman (ATP 50). Roger has won all three duels with Almagro who has already won a title on clay (Valencia) this year and leads the head-to-head against Henman 7-6. Roger has won the last 6 matches against Henman.
Our number one could meet France’s Richard Gasquet (ATP 15) who just made the final in Estoril. The quarter finals could mean matches against Tomas Berdych (ATP 12) or Ivan Ljubicic (ATP 8).

I always believe in you.
Wish you the very best of luck in Rome, Roger!
Love forever,

You will be the last winner this time!!
Best wishes!!!
Bad luck losing the doubles but i wasn't surprised, not with how you played but up against 2 clay court players and your partner just coming back from injury probably wasn't the best but all credit to you both for playing it was close only
wish you all success in Rome. the way you play is an extreem pleasure for me. Do make a good preparation for French open out of this tournament! It's high time to conquer it.
your true fan,
Ksuscha
I thought you played well yesterday in the doubles.
