Roger moves on
17.08.2007 | Tennis
Roger booked his path to the quarter-finals with a 7-6(5), 7-5 win over Marcos Baghdatis (CYP).
While Thursday's 40-degree Celsius heat drained many players, Roger’s habit of training in Dubai left him all but immune to the sweltering Midwest. "The problem is more the humidity. The sweat is all over. The hand gets wet, and it's hard to hold the grip," he said. "Dubai was way hotter than this today, so this is actually pretty mild."
Of his opponent in the next round, Nicolas Almagro, he said: "It was dangerous playing him. He's got a wonderful kick serve, great motion and nice forehand. He's a danger player from the back. Massive power and he's a big guy.”
The match is scheduled to start around 2 p.m. on Center Court today.

I had never seen you so wet. I guess it wasnt comfortable for both of you to play in that heat, but fortunately MarBag did funnier and more mistakes than you.
I wish the weather cools down so you can wear again the nice black T-s
