Roger undergoes knee surgery

Roger Federer undergoes successful arthroscopic knee surgery, expected to miss his next two scheduled tournaments

17-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery today in Switzerland to repair a torn meniscus, according to Tony Godsick, his agent at TEAM8. The injury happened the day after the semi-final match in Australia. As a result, Federer has withdrawn from the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam (Feb 8-21) and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in Dubai (Feb 22-27). “I am so disappointed to have to miss Rotterdam and Dubai as they are two of my favorite tournaments on the ATP World Tour," Federer said. "While this is an unfortunate setback, I feel grateful that up until now I have remained mostly healthy throughout my career. My doctors have ensured me that the surgery was a success and with proper rehabilitation, I will be able to return to the Tour soon.”

PLEASE COMMENT ON WHAT FANCY.FREE WROTE BELOW :

"All I am asking is for people here to lighten up and stop taking the themselves and others so seriously. Just relax everyone, please. Life 's too short. for such petty squabbles."

SHE ALSO WROTE BELOW:
"Same way we may dislike the way certain people post here, we should try to respect that’s how they are and not punish them or make their lives unconfortable for it.
Difficult I know! lol We are all God’s creatures."

On attend le "grand style" de RF sur le terrain, comme le philosophe français, Luc Ferry a mentionné à la conférence sur Nietzsche.
Bon courage!

Dear Roger,

Respect is earned, not given carelessly.
Over the years, the RF sportsmanship has proven true to win this honor.

Congratulations to your buddy Feliciano Lopez:

The temporary #1 chose to curse at the fans and spectators (calling them fu@$ing .i.d.i.o.t.s.), and that is why he was booed, not because he has an eye infection.
