Almost seven
Roger downed Nicolas Kiefer 6-4, 6-4 with a convincing display in Madrid today. He has now won 18 straight and 28 of his last 29 matches, including Davis Cup activity and is an incredible 58-6 for the year.
The level of tennis was excellent at times, with Roger playing almost without errors. He hit 10 aces and had a total of twelve break chances. It was Roger’s eighth victory against Kiefer in series; he is now 9-3 against the German.
Roger will meet David Nalbandian in Sunday’s final. The Argentinean slipped past the third-seeded Djokovic in the semis. "My last indoor loss to him was Shanghai 2005 in the (Masters Cup) final," Roger said. "That was a heartbreaker. We've had good matches in the past, and he beat me in Basel. Nalbandian's one of the best returners in the game, it's nice to see him coming back strong. I'm hoping for a good match and I hope I can serve well again."

Looking forward to the next tournament!!!
