Second win against Pete

Roger won 7-6 7-6 after two close tiebreak sets in a match being played to mark Malaysia's 50th anniversary of their independence from Britain.

Sampras troubled Roger in the opening set tiebreak, but our star edged ahead at 7-6 with a fine forehand winner and tied up the set with a winning backhand drop volley.

The second set followed a familiar pattern, but Roger again edged ahead to win the breaker 7-5.

Their final stop of their Asian tour is in Macau on Saturday.

Roger, you are so generous that you invited Sampras. You are also so generous that you let him smile. You are like Mount Everest who lets the snow melt for the sake of nature, like you did with Sampras. But, it does not mean that the Everest itself melt.
