Pete stuns Roger in Macau

Pete Sampras rolled back the years with a 7-6(6), 6-4 win against Roger in the third and final match of their Asian exhibition series.

 

Sampras, who retired in 2002, won both his break points against our number one to seal victory in Macau. "It's one for the old guy," the American said after the win.

 

Roger's long and successful season is now over. Enjoy your holiday, Roger!

I was there to see you play in Macau. Its nice to see you enjoy yourself. Yeah one for the old guy. I was running like crazy just to get a GOOD PIC! HEHE

Maam: This decade and in all, it's 3:1 to fed. We remember the Wimbledon 3rd round match when he ended Sampras' reign at the age of 19 with amazing play on center court.

Fed, you're the best athlete in the world.

I do not think we can honestly state something like Roger let Pete win...Two athletes such as they are do not know how to let someone win... He may not have had the intensity of maybe a grand slam but i think every time they walk out onto a tennis court t
