BBC Overseas Sports Personality of the Year

Roger beat competition from Bryan Habana (South Africa, rugby) and Padraig Harrington (Ireland, golf) to claim the Overseas Sports Personality of the Year Award. The award is given by the BBC on an annual basis to the non-British sportsman or sportswoman considered to have made the most substantial contribution to sport in that year.

 

After having received the trophy in 2004 and 2006, Roger is now the only athlete next to Muhammad Ali to have won the award three times.

Who were those other sports people? Rugby and golf...boring!!
And you have won Wimbledon FIVE TIMES!!
Congratulations on winning the Beeb award. What is on top of that tripod? A tv camera?

hey Roger it's great to hear that you won the bbc overseas sports personality of the year and you were not there at that time so Boris becker received for you and he also said that you are practising to get you sixth consecutive Wimbledon title next year
