Quarter finals in Miami

Roger went on to reach the quarter finals with a victory over unseeded José Acasuso 7-6(5), 6-2 in the Masters Series tournament in Miami.

 

"It was key for me to serve well, especially in the beginning, and it was a good serving day today," Roger said. "I was very happy with it." Having lost only 10 points on serve, he will meet Andy Roddick next.

 

Our 2005 and 2006 Miami-champ made it through to his sixth Miami quarter-final on the back of his impressive service game against the Argentine world number 45. He reached the fourth round there last year, but was upset by Guillermo Cañas.

Now I'm going to sleep. The clay season is coming. As i know it's a special surface... Maybe I'll show in my slideshows for some seconds the clay itself... As i'll do it when Wimbledon comes just with the grass!

I watched you tonight on ATP TV and you played great tennis. You played some of these great angles that I enjoy so much.

I'm sorry to say this, but, a loss to Roddick.

Perhaps another indication... =/

Figure out what you're doing wrong, Roger, and get back to business. Roddick is not a guy you should've lost against.

Sorry about your loss to roddick, is it physical or mental right now. Maybe you should rest up if you are not 100% well from Mononucleosis yet. You can just prolong your illness and lose your mental edge. Still rooting for you, just hate t

OK, Roddick served well, and?? Roger should serve too. He got break by 0, I couldn't believe 0 x 40 on Rogers serve..... he's getting broken to easly, at the australian open agaist typsarevic, whenever he broke the guy's serve, he got broken right after..
