Roger advances to semis

Roger survived two rain breaks to beat Portuguese Frederico Gil 6-4 6-1 in the quarter-finals of the Estoril Open.

 

Roger stayed mostly on the baseline and was broken twice in the clay-court match. Gil "played an excellent set and a half," our star said. "Thank God I could use the rain delays to improve my level of play."

 

Roger will play Denis Germelmayr or Jiri Vanek in the semi-finals.

I presume the final score waas 6-1 with Roger today in the semi but i was watching the live scores and it simply stopped and then when I tried to get in again it was no longer on the screen. Wonder what happend but then I saw someone's post on here and it
