First final of the season

Roger has reached his first final in 2008 after defeating Denis Gremelmayr 2-6, 7-5, 6-1.

 

Both players had to deal with huge wind gusts, which often forced them to turn their eyes away as loose clay swirled around the Estadio Nacionel.

 

Federer will play the winner of the match between Nikolay Davydenko and Florent Serra.
