French Open draw
The French Open draw this morning revealed a challenging start for Roger. His first opponent is American Sam Querrey (ATP 41) who knocked out Carlos Moya, Andreas Seppi and Richard Gasquetat at the Monte Carlo Masters in April. Roger clearly won the first encounter with the 20 year-old so far (Miami 2007, 6-4, 6-3).
Our champ could meet Albert Montanes (ESP) or Kristof Vliegen (BEL) in the second round, before Mario Ancic (CRO) or - just like in the semi-final in Hamburg - Andreas Seppi (ITA/31) in the third. Roger could then face Argentinian claycourter Juan Monaco in the fourth round before a possible quarter-final match-up with compatriot Stanilas Wawrinka, the ninth seed, or French eighth seed Richard Gasquet.
Numbers two and three of the world ranking, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, are not in Roger's half of the draw and could play each other in the semi-final.

Roger, you need to stop Nadal from winning 4 in a row, just like he tried to stop you at Wimbledon! Stay focused, do not think about the draw, one match at a time!
