Roger loses Rome final

Roger lost the final in Rome against Rafael Nadal 1-6, 3-6 in only 68 minutes and therefore our champ is still not able to add the Rome title to his long list of trophies. 

The stats of the game tell two different stories – yes they tell you that Rafa Nadal won 6-1, 6-3 but they also say that Roger had 32 unforced errors to Rafa’s 8 during a match that lasted 1 hour 8 minutes. Another telling stat was that our Roger only won 55% of his first serves – down from 73% in his match against Simone. There was a glimmer of hope in the second set when Roger won 2 games in row to go from 1-5 to 3-5 with some brilliant shot making. Unfortunately in the last game our champ had two unforced errors and at 0-40 Nadal sent down a good serve to clinch the Championship. As ever Roger was gracious at the end complementing Rafa on the way he played. 

Next up are the French Open, starting next Sunday.

I love you Roger no matter what.

So you lost? So what? Except for the final you played an amazing Rome tournament.
You were and your stats were beyond good.
The final you played good, but it just did not work out.
No biggie. From now on, you are back, better and healthier than ever and you will 'own' the rest of the year.
But we will look at it one match at the time.
Good luck for RG and YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED ABOUT.

making shots to side to side making nadal run run run run until you force him errors infinately. surely you won't have to play long rallies like Djokovic VS Nadal because your shots are faster and sharper but aforementioned tactic of Nadal and DJokovic is far more efficient against nadal than your current tactic. Main tactic of making shots side to side infinately making nadal run run run until he makes unforced errors not you. Nadal cannot make fast and accute angle shots like you but be consis

Roger.... you gotta play like Nadal and Djokovic now to win more...trying to finish the points too early doesn't work....I've been watching more Djokovic VS Nadal match. I realized that they try to attack side to side to get a winner or opponent's errors. You gotta absorb that style too combining with your brilliant winner making style. make that tatic as your base. you attack until opponent's make unforced errors!!! I think what you are lacking is this. you win cause your shots are far better

Roger you gotta return well to beat nadal's serve....You give up too easily on returning of serves....please return like djokovic...Djokovic makes nadal's serve game like his service game.

Nadal dont use slice to attack unlike you Roger. Nadal use the slice to extend his rally and annoy his opponents. you gotta be prepared to execute it as soon as he slice the attack of yours to his backhand side(or forehand). this will prevent nadal from extending his rallies. result is easy win for you

important Roger attack either side of Nadal to make him slice it and go to the net and finish!!! It should be the main tatic of yours!! return with force and force him to slice when he slice, go to the net to finish easy slice. Roger when you notice, Nadal slice a lot to extend the rallies, execute this ball well either at the baseline or at the net

Roger!!! Attack nadal's backhand first and excute it, if he returns with his amazing defense skill, then execute it again by sending it to open side making him run or attack the same side to finish! Watch Djokovic Vs Nadal match a lot until french open. You will notice Djokovic always attack nadal's forehand and backhand and got a short balls to execute. Absorb Nadal and Djokovic's style combining with your style..You gotta make nadal off balance first and execute it right and left.
