Roger bounces back in doubles
Roger and Stanislas Wawrinka have beaten Indian rivals Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the Olympic semifinals.
The fourth seeds cannot rest on their laurels for long as they will face the world No.1 doubles pair, American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, later on Friday. The winners of that match will be guaranteed at least silver. If they lose, they could still return home with bronze if they beat the other losing semifinalists. Although the Bryans are clear favourites, Roger and Stan have both beaten the Americans – although the Swiss were playing with different partners at the time.
Paes was dazzled by Roger's artistry, telling reporters: "Federer is the best player in the world. Unfortunately we got stuck with him playing unbelievably well. I am still trying to figure out what we could possibly have done."
Go for Gold, Team "Fedrinka"!

Congratulations!! Well done Team Fedrinka!!

what winning doubles will do is give him (Roger) more confidence in his net play and attacking game which he can hopefully carry over into the US open and win and silence his critics writing him off as done. --from a Tennis fan
Bob Bryan describing Federer after the Bros' loss today: "He's a genius with the ball."
Brother Mike added: "He plays loose, relaxed and comes up with the shots. That's why he's the best."
