Roger out in Madrid
Roger lost to Andy Murray in semifinal in Madrid today. The Scot took revenge for his defeat in the US Open final in September: 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
“I think he's improved at his pace,” Roger said. “First he had to grow up a little bit, become a man; I think he's taken that step well and he seems much more relaxed on the court which I think helps him. He's still fiery, which he's supposed to be. I just think you've got to give the young guys time to learn. It's so much more fun to see them learning.”
Roger sealed the first set after a break in the fourth game. It was the first set that Murray had to drop in the tournament so far. Murray responded and clearly took the second set 6-3. In the decider the Scot sent down 10 aces and despite Roger saving six break points, his opponent broke in game 11 and served it out to 7-5.
Roger is now off to Basel where he has announced that he will be competing next week.

Although I am very sad to see you are out in Madrid semifinal, I still believe you will play well in Basel next week. Good luck! Just remember you are the best and enjoy playing tennis.
It was great watching the treat till the semis, and a bit of a pain to not see you take on Nadal in the final. It has been a while now, and both in the US open and here, the outcome of semis prevented it, ah what wait !
match you played yesterday against Murray.
Well, Murray is qualified to play in Shanghai and you have to face him there. I'm guessing
that you wanted to find out something from his
new coaching after the USO

It was certainly a disappointment yesterday, of course--it's always disappointing to see you lose. But you had good performances all this past week, which is great considering the long layoff since Davis Cup. And you looked relaxed and
