Roger will play his first round match at the Swiss Indoors against Bobby Reynolds (ATP 85). Reynolds was the last player to make it directly into the main draw. After two perfect years in Basel, Roger is aiming for a third consecutive home-title. He has not met the American Reynolds before.

In the second round last year's finalist, Jarkko Nieminen (FIN/ATP 33), or Argentina's Eduardo Schwank (ATP 56) are possible opponents. Furthermore, Tomas Berdych (CZE/7; possible opponent in the quarter finals), James Blake (USA/4) and Mardy Fish (USA/8) are in Roger's half of the draw.

score update - roger is 3-1 up in the 3rd set..reynolds is a bit like a terrier snapping away at roger's heels at the moment and he can't shake him off!

J-S-M Thanx for the link. I am watching the match on the justin TV radiomix 2 that you gave out. I am hoping agaisnt hope that Roger will pull out this match. He seems a little "off" today but you know Roger, he can step it up if he wants to. ha.
