Quarter finals in Basel
23.10.2008 | Tennis
Roger has made it through to the round of the last eight at his home tournament in Basel.
A good performance in two tie-breaks was just right for our champ to defeat Finland's Jarkko Nieminen 7-6(6), 7-6(1).
Roger had to work rather hard in both sets and also faced breaks by his opponent. But he was there when it really mattered, especially during the tie-break of the second set, only dropping one single point to Nieminen.
Our two-time defending champion now meets Simone Bolelli of Italy who beat Marcel Granollers 6-4 6-2.

Good luck in quarter finals.
Fighting!
Congratulations,I wish you all luck in the world!!

Irena
