Roger moves on
29.10.2008 | Tennis
Roger advanced to the third round of the Paris Masters with a 6-4, 7-6(7) victory over Robin Söderling today.
He completed the evening match in just under one hour and 15 minutes with ten aces and no double faults. Söderling was rather helpless on Roger's first serve, but was more consistent in the second set, forcing our champ to a tiebreak which Roger took 9-7 after saving two set points. Roger has now won all his eight matches against the Swede.
Roger next meets Croatian Marin Cilic (ATP 59) who beat Spanish qualifier Marcel Granollers 6-4 7-6.

You won again in straight sets!
You are on your way to the Parisian citizenship...
Good on you, my dear!
you won but probably a match to forget
very quick and go pump up because
blake is waiting for you and try to take
revange for the loss in the 1/4 final in Beijing
take a good rest
Onwards and upwards for King Roger I.
Thank you so much for your great comments.
You are such a positive person!! with good eyes!!

Great match! Very hard to stay up and kicking when Cilic is not giving you anything to work with. For us watching you, is NEVER boring but I can imagine for you it could be.
