A clear victory

30.10.2008 | Tennis

Roger has made it through to the quarter finals in Paris. His 6-3, 6-4 success over Croatia's Marin Cilic (ATP 25) next sets him up with James Blake.

This means that Roger could reach the semifinals at the Paris Masters for the first time. He reached the quarters in 2002 and 2003. “I had better results in other tournaments, that's for sure,” Roger said. “Of course, I prefer to come back to a place where I had success in the past. This is not the case here.” Roger is 8-1 against Blake, with our star's only loss coming in the quarterfinals at the Beijing Olympics in August. I'm not the revengeful type, but I would be pleased to beat him,” he said.

Good job Roger... Now all you have to do is finish James Blake off... Do your best and focus when you are playing him. And try to make no blunders and hit his powerful strokes back.... Also, I think you should make him run like he has never before by hitt
