Roger unable to play

Dear Fans,

 

Due to a stiff back, I have decided to pull out of my match against James Blake tonight. My back has been stiff for the last couple of days and I woke up this morning and it did not respond to the treatment I had last night. As a precaution and because I would be unable to play at 100% tonight, I have unfortunately had to take the difficult decision not to play. I thank the tournament and French fans for their understanding and support.

As long as you recover soon and do your best in Shanghai, the decision you took was for your own good. I hope you play as good as you always do and I am sure you will be the best, just as you always are!

I think it is a very tough draw for Roger...all three in his group have beaten him this year, whereas the other group has players (apart from the Djoke) who have not come close to beating him this year.
So he will have very difficult RR match

Roger, it is a wise decision to withdraw from the game due to stff back and a difficult decision not to play, but we your fans will always be there to support you. Take a good rest and hope to see you playing in Shanghai. Good luck.
