Roger unable to play

Dear Fans,

 

Due to a stiff back, I have decided to pull out of my match against James Blake tonight. My back has been stiff for the last couple of days and I woke up this morning and it did not respond to the treatment I had last night. As a precaution and because I would be unable to play at 100% tonight, I have unfortunately had to take the difficult decision not to play. I thank the tournament and French fans for their understanding and support.

It was a disappointment to hear you were not playing in Paris, but I know it was for your own well-being. I hope you will make it to Shanghi. Keep we;; and better luck for 2009.

It to bad that you can't play against Black,but I think that if you try some more treatments you can get enough strength up to keep you healthy for Shanghi and win that 4 million plus cash prize at the end. Get well soon Roger.

actually, I think that the TMC final will be a best of three sets (not best of 5) starting this year. I read that somewhere, but can't find where I could confirm it.
