Birmingham will host Davis Cup
The city of Birmingham, Alabama, will host the 2009 first-round Davis Cup matches between the United States and Roger-led Switzerland on March 6-8.
The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Arena is expected to seat more than 17,000 for the best-of-five series. It's the first time a Davis Cup match will be played in Alabama. Roger will play in the first round for the first time since 2004.
"It's certainly one of the tougher first-round matches we could have gotten," said McEnroe, captain of the U.S. Davis Cup-team. Roger and Stan won the gold medal in doubles at the Olympics, beating American brothers Mike and Bob Bryan along the way. "That's pretty much their team," McEnroe said. "Assuming that they're both healthy, they're quite a formidable duo in singles and doubles."

If the much fitter Federer of 2007 didn't adapt to Nalbandian's game , then how come did Federer beat him both in Madrid and Shanghai in 2006 , was Nalbandian's game so hard to figure out back then ?
