Roger defeated in epic final

Roger had to put on hold his quest to match Pete Sampras with 14 Grand Slam singles titles today. He was defeated by Rafael Nadal in another epic five-set final 5-7, 6-3, 6-7(3), 6-3, 2-6.

 

After 4 hours and 23 minutes on court Roger could not hold back his tears during the prize ceremony, showing how much this title would have meant to him. Our star was trying to equal Pete Sampras' record 14 major titles but has now lost to Nadal the last three times they've met in Grand Slam finals.

lost it.he did not beat you.
Your face at the start told me you would be beaten. You have to decide whether you want to beat him (Nadal) or keep getting involved in all the hype that is being bantered ar

how cute of u!!!!!!!!!!!!!the moment u strte crying tears were rolling down from my eyes.the whole day was so dull for me.but its ok.u r roger u r not going to lose again & i am really praaying every day that u should make 20 grandslams......

hi roger, tough luck 4 loosing that final against rafa,, but i think u deserved that only, coz inspite of streching match to a 5 seter , u loose the control over ur mind in the 4th game , wen u were 30-0 ahead & gifted that particular game , rather match
