Roger battles into quarters

Roger has moved into the quarterfinals in Indian Wells with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 victory over Fernando Gonzalez in 1 hour 50 minutes.

 

Our champ raised his game when he needed to, setting up an encounter with Fernando Verdasco, the 10th seed. Roger cruised through the first set but Gonzalez, unleashing a series of spectacular forehand winners, broke in the 12th game of the second set to force a decider. But Roger then stepped on the gas, breaking in the third game of the third set and then again in the seventh before serving out for victory.

I do not like Darren Cahill, what kind of arrangements does he have with Verdasco? part time? full time? I find him a little arrogant and Federer must have seen something during the tryout. Like Evert said he does not need a coach, all he can do is wor
