Roger reaches last eight in Rome

It took Roger just 68 minutes to secure a comfortable victory over Radek Stepanek today in Rome.

 

Roger started extremely well, taking a 4-1 lead in the first set. But Stepanek raised his level of play and came up to 4-5, before Roger scored yet another break an took home the set. Roger served and returned brilliantly and managed to march off with a 5-0 lead in the second set. The Czech just managed to avoid a bagle before our champ finished off the match with two aces, taking an impressive four out of seven break-point opportunities.

 

Roger will play his quarter final against France's Gilles Simon (ATP 7) or Germany's Mischa Zverev (ATP 76) on Friday.

I didn't watch the tie-breaker and sure enough Roger won! What was the score of the tie breaker please someone? GO ROGER!!!!

that bh return was not a real one i can't say anything else. what a shot was that damn!!!!down the line. and this one too, Roger's playing strongly beautiful and the 2nd break in the 2nd set. very beautiful Roger, stay strong!!!! and this fh too!!!!!

what an unreal shot above Zve's head top 10 and the pass again before it amazing!!!! and the break in the 2nd!!!! this break can be main in the match come on Roger!!!!
