Roger played a last match at the first Guinot-Mary Cohr Masters at the Golf & Country Club Paris in Rueil Malmaison three days before the start of Roland Garros. He defeated Stanislas Wawrinka 6-2 and 6-4 in the exhibition in front of around 1'500 spectators.

Roger played an excellent match, clearly dominating his fellow countryman. "I have recovered very well from the final on Sunday and am really happy with my performance here," Roger commented.
