The event held in Nike Town in Melbourne during the Australian Open was a great success. Through a combination of Saturday's takings, auction items and contributions Nike will donate $100,000 cash to World Vision's Tsunami Relief Appeal. Furthermore, an additional $100,000 worth of product to help with rehabilitation of affected communities will be donated.

 

Roger, just like James Blake and Anastasia, are proud to have been part of such a positive effort. Roger thrilled both the young and big kids - challenging the crowd to table tennis, signing autographs and serving behind cash & wrap. His 30 minute appearance stretched to well over an hour, and he returned quietly unannounced late in the day to personally contribute over $1200 in sales.
