Roger rallies to win

Roger battled past Lleyton Hewitt with a 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 victory today.

 

“We played here in the finals in 2004,” Roger said in a court-side interview. “The third round, it just doesn’t seem right.”

 

Roger had a good start, taking a 4-2 and 40-love lead in the first set, but then suffered a bout of wayward groundstokes which eventually lead to the loss of the first set. But Roger found his rhythm rapidly and eventually raced through the second set. Hewitt did have four break points in the third set, but couldn't convert any. And our champ then went on to make everything clear in the fourth.

 

Roger's next match will be against the winner of the match between American James Blake and Tommy Robredo of Spain, who play later today.

I live in the forest with very little electricity and no television so can't watch the matches. But i check the scores on my mobile phone and am rooting for you! Let's see a 16th Roger!

Go Roger ... you have a relatively lower opponent in your draw before the finals than muray or nadal 's draw Make sure you thrashed them completely in order to have psychological edge before the finals and this would definitely dent their confidence and w
