Switzerland takes a 2-0 lead
It took Roger exactly 100 minutes to secure a 6-3, 6-4, 6-1 win over Simone Bolelli (ATP 64) today. He scored the second point for the Swiss team after Stanislas Wawrinka won against Andreas Seppi (ATP 59) 6-4, 6-1, 6-2.
Roger said he felt tired before the match after having come directly from the US Open, but it rarely showed. He did have to save a few break-points but never really got into danger.
The doubles match tomorrow could already be the deciding one in the Davis Cup World Group playoff against Italy in Genoa. The plan is that Roger joins forces with Stan for the match against Fabio Fognini and Potito Starace. If the Swiss team wins the playoff they will retain their place in the World Group but if Italy stage a comeback they will replace the Swiss in the top tier of the competition.

Thank you very much, both, for your true, honest words about the USopen final, umpire who doesn't deserve to sit in that chair, del potro, who looks like a saint, and Roger who looks always for the truth, he never cheats! Re
Roll On..

Nevermind, Swiss is the best, wish Stan and Marco all the best to come through in a five-set thriller.
