Around 1'200 stars gathered in Berlin yesterday for the award-ceremony of the ‘Golden Camera’. It was the 40th time the event took place and Roger had the honour of being awarded the prestigious prize in the category ‘international sports’ for his great achievements as an athlete.
The Golden Camera is the award of the movie- and TV-business by the German magazine ‘Hörzu’. In the 17 categories Bruce Willis, Goldie Hawn and Dustin Hofmann were amongst the winners. The ceremony was moderated by Thomas Gottschalk, a famous German talkmaster, and will be broadcast on ZDF (public German TV) on Sunday, February 13, at 21.45.
Roger is certainly very proud to have received this award in the entertainment business.
