A challenging draw

Roger will compete against Andy Murray, Juan Martin Del Potro and Fernando Verdasco in Group A at the ATP World Tour Finals - not an easy draw!

 

Roger has won three of the nine encounters with Murray. He beat Verdasco in all their three matches so far and defeated Del Potro in six of their seven meetings (he lost to the Argentinian in this year's US Open final).

 

Roger can meet Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic in the semifinal of the World Tour Finals starting in London coming Monday.

No there is no other Roger Federer - no one who combines his charm and personality and warmth with terrific playing. No one. I've never seen it before and doubt will see it after as these younger champs are just not the same.

Verdasco definitely had studied Roger's game and knew he should put all the balls to his bh but Roger came through and improved whereas Verdasco just crumbled over time. Hopefully Roger will now know what he has to do to beat Murray.

Well done Roger!!! If anyone ever questioned his fighting ability, they should have watched this match ... he was two points from a certain loss!
And the commentators just said that he secured the year-end number one ranking with this win ... jippee!!!

Waoh! what can I say? Roger just turned this match around. I knew that when he broke Verdasco to take the second set, he did get his mojo back. It would have nearly been a big bagel for Verdasco in the 3rd set but Roger decided to cut him some slacks. Way
