ATP - TOKYO AND SHANGHAI

Dear Fans

I am disappointed that I have to withdraw from Tokyo and Shanghai as they are two of my favorite cities in the world and the fans have been great to me over the years.  After consultation with my team and doctors, I decided to take the difficult decision to withdraw from both tournaments so that I can give my body a chance to rest, rehabilitate and fully recover from a physically challenging year.

yess rog.. i know.. its a hard season for u,, and what u achieve is great... ur the best now.. u dont have to think bout rankings or whatever.. just rest relax and play with ur lovely twinss.. good luck rog.. send my deepest regard to ur lovely wife..

I know how hard it must have been for you to do this of course I'm sorry for your fans over there but you need the rest now, I'm happy you can do so,

Hi Roger,

I am as disappointed as you because i am travelling from Singapore to Shanghai just to see you play in this tournament and now it will not be. :( sob sob .....However i respect your decision to rest for body from a fruitful and challenging year.

Roger, I'm very sorry to know that I cannot see you in Japan.
But, I do believe you will come to play at Japan Open next year.
So, please take care this year and don't forget your Japanese fans waiting for you for years...
