DAVIS CUP - ROGER TO PLAY DAVIS CUP

Roger explained in Beijing today that he will not only be helping Switzerland in the World Group Play-offs of the Davis Cup against Belgium (September 19 - 21 in Lausanne, Switzerland) but also in the first round of 2009.

He has not quite made all his plans for the coming season but says that "In general next year will certainly be easier. I will certainly join the team for the first round."

In order to focus fully on his singles career Roger has had to skip the first round of the season since 2005. Up until 2007 the Swiss then went on to lose and had to play the relegation, where Roger then helped out.

I am sory for saying sergi brugera wants nadal to be #1. Sergi was my favorite player, and he is a great player who gives a lot credit to federer's game. Sorry brugera, I was a fan of you and always talking about you, about how well you played.don't be mad at me if you read me or somebody else.

These Nada fans are so predictable--here they are on August 18, spewing their crap as usual. I mean we all knew that they'd be back, right? Most children and trained animals are that way. PREDICTABLE!!!

Do yourselves and others a favor and self-flagellate on Nada's website or go on the other players' websites and defecate there instead.

Of course, now that Nada is on top, there's only one way from there. DOWN!

Mira nene, en esta vida hay que aprender muchas cosas, de entre ellas ser respetuoso, incluso con el adversario u oponente, pues anda que no has soltado tu tambien "mierda" a nadal...

Pero claro..., tu aplicas la ley de a dios rogando y con el mazo dando, pues bien, como persona libre y con derecho a ejercer mi libertad de expresion donde y cuando quiera..(no es una web privada verdad?) *I have a question*

When Andy Roddick was the # 3 seed (for quite a long time) he was always on Roger’s side of the draw. So why should the # 3 seed (Djoker) be on the same side as #2 (Roger) NOW? Besides, this year Djoker was on Roger’s side in AO and Wimby. Why should he be on Roger’s side again in the US Open?

As the # 1 seed, Roger had very difficult draw with tricky/dangerous opponents in the early rounds. Let’s see who Nadal gets in the early rounds now.

Look like you I am sure that because of tha mono thing Roger has not being the same one we used to see...but...I also believ that Roger has lost self confidence, now, when he goes to a match he hopes not to loose, or he hopes to win, when years before he went out there SURE he was going to win...you saw him confident, focus, fearnes (fearnes? escuse my english is....) the point here is that this is a combination of the mono thing that as a consequence has borught all this "ghosts" in Roger's head.
But well this is only my opinion

Tennis channel showing Master Series Classic match - Roger vs Nadal - 2005 - Fed won in 5 sets. He was down 2 sets and a break - he came back.

Fed not his 2006 best but still it was the Fed, the genius we knew. Hope he plays that game again !! No one can come near him.

Hats off to Nadal too. he worked hard and reached where he is today but i sincerely wish Fed comes back with his natural game.

Age, mono, game strategy, hunger to keep winning - all matters. Hope Feb understands, takes break, settles down in his mind and come back.

Thx Tennis Channel for showing the great match - its still on !
