July 8, 2019 -- Wimbledon, UK

Roger was practically flawless today as he took the court against big hitting Matteo Berrittini.

The 37-year old made a mere 5 unforced errors in his quick victory.

Serving big and winning 88% of his points on his 1st serve, he won the first set in just 17 minutes. He was just as effective when returning and was not phased by the big serving Italian. The Swiss Star dropped only 5 games in this routine Round of 16 win.

"Today was excellent. I was very happy. I was expecting a tough match and a close one with not too many chances. It was actually quite the opposite, so that was great."

Next up, Roger will face Kei Nishikori in his 17th Quarterfinal appearance at Wimbledon. Roger is currently sitting at 99 Wimbledon wins.
